Promise one useful action
Open with a concrete problem: ‘Your weekly update lists tasks, but does it show progress?’ Follow with the action you will demonstrate. Avoid unsupported promises such as guaranteed promotions or viral reach.
Make the middle visible
Show a fictional before-and-after example. Before: ‘Worked on the launch.’ After: ‘Completed the draft; waiting on legal review; next step is approval on Tuesday.’ Match each spoken line to a screen, prop or simple shot.
Use a practical timing plan
Try five seconds for the problem, forty seconds for the demonstration and fifteen seconds for a recap. This is an editing starting point, not a rule. Read aloud with natural pauses. Cut side arguments if you exceed the intended duration.
Review captions and the ending
Keep one thought per caption. Check names and numbers manually. End with a low-pressure action such as ‘Try the three-line structure in your next update.’ Only request an action that the video actually supports.
