Check your right to use the source
Use your own writing or material you have permission to adapt. Rewriting someone else's text does not automatically grant copyright permission. Keep necessary quotations and attribution, and do not strip ownership signals.
Separate facts from style
Mark facts that cannot change: dates, prices, limitations, names and uncertainty. For example, ‘may help some users’ must not become ‘works for everyone’. Tell the tool which claims must remain qualified.
Change one dimension at a time
For a spoken version, shorten sentences and replace jargon. For a professional version, improve structure rather than adding invented expertise. For a shorter version, remove repetition before removing caveats. Compare variants against the original, sentence by sentence.
Use a final publication check
Verify quotations, consent and platform rules. Read the new draft aloud and check that it still makes the same factual claim. Generated wording may resemble other content; it is not guaranteed to be exclusive.
